Shenzhen Customs seized more than 15,000pcs "zero-capacity usb flash drive"

China News, Shenzhen, March 17 (Zheng Xiaohong, Zhong Chao) According to a report by Shenzhen Customs on the 17th, the customs recently seized two consecutive cases of false export declarations by the same company in the logistics exit channel of Shenzhen Bay Port, suspected of false trade, and seized those without storage capacity. There are 15,480 "usb flash drive".

At present, due to the false declaration of this batch of goods, the company is suspected of engaging in false trade or defrauding export tax rebates by "pass for genuine" or "sell seconds at best quality prices ", and has been transferred to the anti-smuggling department for further investigation and handling.

According to reports, on February 22, a limited company declared to Shenzhen Customs to export 3860pcs "64GB usb flash drive" and 6420pcs "128GB usb flash drive" to Shenzhen Bay Customs in a general trade method, a total of 10280pcs, and the total value of the declared value was 239,204. US dollars (approximately 1.56 million yuan). At 17:00 on the same day, the company's cargo vehicle was inspected by the customs when it passed the cargo exit lane of Shenzhen Bay Port. After inspection, the batch of goods was business card usb flash drive, the export quantity was consistent with the declaration, the goods did not have any brand and the outer packaging only had a layer of plastic film, and the quality of workmanship was obviously inconsistent with the declared unit price of about RMB 150. And there is no obvious difference between the storage media labeled "64GB" and "128GB", and the specific capacity cannot be recognized even when connected to a computer. In order to further confirm the authenticity of the goods, the customs officers on the spot decided to temporarily detain the goods and send samples to the inspection agency for identification.

On February 23, the company declared to Shenzhen Bay Customs for export of 5,200 mobile storage devices by means of general trade, with a total value of 128,830 US dollars (about 840,000 yuan). After inspection, the characteristics of the products were exactly the same as the products exported by the company the day before, so they were also seized.

On March 15, appraised by the quality inspection department, the measured storage capacity of the "64GB and 128GB usb flash drive" declared by the company for export was "0MB", which had no commercial use value.

Shenzhen Customs stated that cracking down on false declarations and false trade is an important measure taken by the Customs to promote the sustained and healthy development of foreign trade. The special action "National Sword 2016" launched by the General Administration of Customs this year will severely crack down on cases of import smuggling and false export declarations, and effectively create a good business environment.
